✯ वेब पेज में किसी भी स्थान पर आवश्यकता होने पर इमेज को शामिल करने के लिए HTML में img टैग का इस्तेमाल किया जाता हैं । यह टैग HTML में उस स्थान पर प्रयुक्त किया जाता हैं जहाँ किसी इमेज को प्रदर्शित करना होता हैं । इसे बॉडी टैग के मध्य आवश्यकता अनुसार प्रयुक्त किया जाता हैं ।

The img tag is used in HTML to include an image wherever it is required on a web page. This tag is used in HTML where an image is to be displayed. It is used between body tags as per requirement.

✧ Image Tag Structure ✧

✯ वेबपेज के अंदर इमेज को शामिल करने के लिए img टैग का इस्तेमाल किया जाता हैं । यह टैग स्वतंत्र रूप से कार्य करने में असमर्थ हैं । इस टैग के साथ में कुछ एट्रीब्यूट का इस्तेमाल किया जाता हैं ।

The img tag is used to include an image inside a webpage. These tags are unable to function independently. Some attributes are used with this tag.

✯ img टैग के अंदर Source एट्रीब्यूट का इस्तेमाल किया जाता हैं । इसमें इमेज के नाम को लोकेशन सहित दर्ज किया जाता हैं । यह एट्रीब्यूट इमेज को वेबपज में प्रदर्शित करवाने के लिए उस इमेज की लोकेशन व नाम को पढता हैं । यदि सोर्स एट्रीब्यूट को इमेज नहीं मिलती है तो वो इमेज को दिखाने में असमर्थ हो जायेगा । इस एट्रीब्यूट को img टैग के भीतर छोटे रूप में src लिखा जाता हैं ।

Source attribute is used inside img tag. In this the name of the image is entered along with the location. This attribute reads the location and name of the image to display it in the webpage. If the source attribute does not find the image, it will be unable to display the image. This attribute is abbreviated as src within the img tag.

✯ Image टैग के सोर्स एट्रीब्यूट को उस लोकेशन पर कोई इमेज नहीं मिलती है जिस लोकेशन का इस्तेमाल src एट्रीब्यूट में किया जाता हैं तो उस स्थिति में वेबपेज पर कोई इमेज प्रदर्शित नहीं होती हैं । तब ऑल्ट एट्रीब्यूट में लिखी हुई जानकारी वेब पेज पर प्रदर्शित हो जाती हैं । जैसा की आप ऊपर उदाहरण में देख पा रहे हैं की एक इमेज प्रदर्शित नहीं हो पाई तो उसके स्थान पर ऑल्ट एट्रीब्यूट की वैल्यू प्रदर्शित हो गई ।

Image tag's src attribute does not find any image at the location which is used in src attribute then in that case no image is displayed on the webpage. Then the information written in the alt attribute is displayed on the web page. As you can see in the above example, if an image could not be displayed, then the value of alt attribute was displayed instead.
